Second chance for Manchester City to land long-term target?

4330559Manchester City fans are on cloud nine here in the Football Transfer Tavern, as the Daily Star claim that Isco could well be on his way to the club.

As we know, the Citizens tried to sign the Spanish star in the summer, and the relationship between manager Manuel Pellegrini and the player was thought to be key.

Then came Isco’s father, who scuppered the deal with his demands that City were not prepared to pay – but Real Madrid were.

The Spanish side landed the player who has a dog called Messi and who once called Real Madrid fans ‘arrogant’ and made it very clear he was not a fan of the club. Not a massive shock that he did not fit in then!

Now after being confined to a bit-part role this season, the player is willing to consider a move elsewhere to not only play week in, week out but to develop his talent in the way he thinks it should be.

Pellegrini is a huge fan of the player, and would jump at the chance to re-sign and work with him once again. Isco is considering his options but a move to Manchester City is thought to be his preference.

Will City eventually get their hands on Isco? Let us know your thoughts below.
