‘Sell him and get an upgrade’ – Arsenal fans on Twitter demand shock sale after dismal Bournemouth defeat

The resident Gunners were fuming in the Transfer Tavern yesterday after watching with their side’s performance against Bournemouth at The Vitality Stadium.

Arsenal’s hopes of achieving a top-four finish this season were dealt another blow yesterday, as goals from Callum Wilson and Jordan Ibe enabled the Cherries to come from behind to beat Arsenal for the first time in their history. Arsene Wenger’s side had initially taken the lead courtesy of Hector Bellerin’s second goal in as many games just after half-time, but they failed to make their advantage count and they now sit 8 points adrift of 4th placed Chelsea with just 15 fixtures left to play.
