With the transfer window ticking down, Arsenal are seemingly on the lookout to get rid some of their squad players.

After securing five new additions to the squad, Arsenal seem to have pretty much finished their transfer business for the summer.

The only thing left to do for the Gunners is now to sell off some of the players that won't be needed for the upcoming season such as Joel Campbell, Chuba Akpom and Carl Jenkinson.

According to Corriere di Roma via Football Italia, Arsenal have set a £7.1 million price tag on Lucas Perez. Moreover, the report states that Lazio are interested in the Spaniard who spent last season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna after seemingly falling out with Arsene Wenger.

The Breakdown

With Unai Emery taking Perez on the pre-season tour of Singapore, it seemed the Spaniard may get a second chance at Arsenal.

Although Perez has never shined at Arsenal, the Spanish striker is still a very good player and could well provide some crucial depth to Arsenal's frontline. While Aubameyang and Lacazette will start up front, Perez is the next best option for Emery to play as a winger or indeed as the main striker.

Instead of letting Perex go, Arsenal should be looking at getting rid of the likes of Danny Welbeck, Chuba Akpom and Joel Campell, all of whom don't really have a future at the club.

If Arsenal are forced into selling Perex it should be for a fee well in excess of £10 million but ultimately, it's a deal the club shouldn't be making.
