Manchester City managed to secure yet another three points yesterday as they produced a dominant second-half display to win 3-1 against Bournemouth.
The Citizens have been the dominant force in the Premier League this season with their unbeaten domestic record still intact. But, the defending champions did receive a big blow on the injury front recently, as according to France 24, Sergio Aguero is a doubt for Manchester City’s clash with Watford tomorrow.
Pep Guardiola admits Sergio Aguero is a doubt for Manchester City’s Premier League trip to Watford on Tuesday because of a muscle problem.
Sadly, the Argentine missed City’s 3-1 victory over Bournemouth yesterday because of the same muscle issue.
“I don’t know if Aguero will be fit. We will see. I base my decisions on doctors, physios, instinct and what I see. There are many reasons,”
Sergio Aguero has been one of the standout performers for the Citizens this season as the club’s top scorer with 12 goals to his name in all competitions.
However, with the forward currently labelled as a doubt by Guardiola, this is a big blow for City as they looked rather flat without him at the Etihad yesterday, so their unbeaten record could come under threat against the Hornets.
Nevertheless, with a tough Watford test coming up away from home, it remains to be seen as to how much the defending Premier League champions will miss his presence if he fails to make the cut.
