The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been wondering what has happened to Baba Rahman.
Rahman is now a forgotten man at Chelsea and could be set for the exit door in the January transfer window.
According to reports in Italy, Fiorentina might be interested in his services.
Italian media outlet Il Nazione, reported via Calcio Mercato, claims that Fiorentina hold an interest in Chelsea left back Baba Rahman, eyeing him as a possible replacement for Marcos Alonso.
Fiorentina sold Alonso to Chelsea in the summer of 2016 and could now look to Chelsea to sign a new left back.
Baba Rahman is out of favour at Chelsea and is not getting close to the first team squad under Antonio Conte.
Since his arrival from Augsburg in summer 2015, where he signed a five year deal, the Ghana international has played just 23 games in total for the Blues.
The 23-year-old, who already has 24 international caps to his name, spent last season on loan at Schalke in the Bundesliga, scoring once in 21 games for them.
He has previously played for Greuther Furth and Augsburg in Germany.
With his Chelsea future looking increasingly bleak, Rahman might be tempted to join Fiorentina and Chelsea are unlikely to stand in his way.
