It will be a summer of change at Chelsea and the Daily Mail thinks that Fernando Torres is heading for the exit door at Stamford Bridge.
According to the publication, Serie A giants Inter Milan are still harbouring an interest in the Spanish forward who has suffered yet another dire season at Chelsea.
Jose Mourinho has made no secret of the fact that his side need a world class forward and there will be at least two coming in this summer, meaning there will be a revolving door in West London.
We think that this was only to be expected and the fact of the matter is that Torres, along with the likes of Samuel Eto’o and Demba Ba, have been given chance after chance after chance and all failed.
Quite why Inter are even expressing an interest in Torres and are willing to actually pay a fee for him bemuses us, and there seems to be another move in the pipeline as well.
Blackpool’s Tom Ince – currently on loan at Crystal Palace – has been a target for the Italian side since last summer and they are willing to really ramp up the interest in the England Under-21 international winger now the summer transfer window is about to open once again.
Do you think that Torres may be able to revive his career in San Siro? Let us know your thoughts below.
