The Manchester City fans who are gathered at the bar in The Transfer Tavern are discussing reports that a pair of their players are attracting interest from Italy.
According to Corriere dello Sport via Talksport, both Pablo Zabaleta and Yaya Toure are being considered as transfer targets for Inter Milan.
It appears that time could be up for the duo at Etihad Stadium as incoming manager Pep Guardiola looks to give the squad a complete overhaul this summer.
The duo are no strangers to Inter manager Roberto Mancini who managed the pair during his time as manager of Manchester City.
Toure’s agent has already confirmed that the Ivory Coast international could be moving in this summer, and along with Zabaleta the pair have been scouted by the Italian giants and Mancini is ready to pounce.
The Manchester City fans in The Tavern are not surprised that the duo could be leaving the Etihad Stadium this summer, and would like to thank them both for their efforts during their time with the club.
Our landlord here in the Tavern feels it makes sense that the pair depart Manchester club, as it is clear that Guardiola is going to completely revamp things at the club!
