Our punters are moving away from the pool table and over to the bar to find out the lasts gossip from the Daily Star, courtesy of our landlord here in the Football Transfer Tavern.
The publication has some news that has Manchester United fans on the edge of their seats and looking up with interest.
Pints have been abandoned, the score at the darts board forgotten and the Red Devils supporters turning their heads in unison to hear the gossip.
It has been claimed that not only are David Moyes and his board looking to bring in Premier League favourites Juan Mata and also Ross Barkley but they are also considering a couple of players on the continent as well.
The likes of Miralem Pjanic, Lucas Moura, Arturo Vidal and Adam Lallana, not to mention Lazio playmaker Hernanes are all being considered.
Our landlord notes that it seems to be the first sensible brainwave that Moyes and his men have had in a while, with the middle of the park being neglected in favour of other areas on the field, with creativity simply having to be injected into the club.
Anderson has now been sent out on loan to Fiorentina – not that he particularly did very much in the first place – and the club are crying out for someone who can actually drive the midfield forward.
Are any of these seven names destined for a switch to Old Trafford any time soon? Let us know your thoughts below.
