Liverpool fans are looking more than a little bit interested at the latest piece of news coming from the Football Transfer Tavern as the Metro claim that target Henrikh Mkhitaryan has taken the rather forward step of changing his agent in order to force a move to the club through.
Clearly the player himself is keen on a move and luckily for him, Brendan Rodgers is similarly enthusiastic after seeing the player net 24 goals in 34 games. Costing around £15 million, the club are keen to grant the player’s wish and allow him a way out of the Ukraine where he has been unhappy for some time.
Northern Irishman Rodgers has made no secret of the fact that he is on the look out for new blood and a player who is so keen to move to the club not to mention scored a fair few goals this term could well be right on his radar. Andre Villas Boas was thought to be considering a swoop for the player yet given the desire on Mkhitaryan’s part to move to Liverpool not to mention super agent Mino Raiola’s close links with the club, it seems Anfield could well be the most likely destination this summer.
Is this a good move for Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool? Rate this rumour below.
