Chris Wilder’s side were fantastic on the night, and a goal from Lys Mousset in the first half proved to be the match-winning moment.

The result means that the Blades are now in ninth place in the Premier League after picking up 12 points from their first nine matches, an impressive tally given that they are one of the newly-promoted clubs (via BBC Sport).

And following the game, goalkeeper Dean Henderson came in for specific praise on social media.

The Manchester United loanee produced a stunning save in the match to stop Granit Xhaka’s long-ranged effort (Sky Sports) and also comfortably dealt with everything else he had to do.

Ultimately, the 22-year-old kept his fourth clean sheet of the season, the joint-most in the league so far alongside Manchester City’s Ederson (premierleague.com).

Henderson has become a firm favourite amongst the fans at Bramall Lane since he first joined the club on loan in 2018. The supporters were delighted with his performance against Arsenal and were particularly impressed with his save to deny Xhaka.
