Sheffield United: Fans agree Simon Moore deserves to play against Manchester United

Sheffield United take on Manchester United on Sunday afternoon and Chris Wilder is going to be forced to change his goalkeeper for the game.
Regular number one Dean Henderson is ineligible to play, as he is on loan from the Red Devils, meaning that either Simon Moore or Michael Verrips will get the opportunity to play.
Will Sheffield United be able to keep a hold of John Lundstram?
Yes

No

It seems likely that it will be Moore who gets the nod, given that he has been on the bench for all 12 of their league outings so far and he also started in both of their EFL Cup ties (Transfermarkt).
The ex-Brentford shot-stopper has been at Bramall Lane for some time now. Indeed, he joined back in 2016 and was a regular as the Blades won the League One title that season, playing 43 games (Transfermarkt).
He has been forced to play second fiddle to Henderson in the last year though, but it seems that supporters have complete faith in the 29-year-old if he does start against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side on Sunday.
Plenty of fans have been discussing Moore’s potential appearance in the game, with most agreeing that he is more than good enough to play and deserves his chance…
A fantastic professional we are very lucky to have been able to keep. Good luck Simon, keep up your 100% clean sheet record in the Premier league.

Couldn’t agree more (or Moore!)….. deserves a chance and really hope he proves that he is worth his place in the squad. It’ll keep @CourtenaySUFC happy too. #UTB

Moore deserves his chance, been very patient the last 18 months. I half reckon Verrips won’t appear on the first team teamsheet until this issue with his old club is sorted

Not many keepers who would tolerate being benched permanently .To maintain his standards and enthusiasm is a credit to him .Here’s hoping he has a quiet debut to the premiership if so we should get a result.
