Sheffield United: Fans buzzing over positive injury update - Sheffield United

Many Sheffield United fans are buzzing at a positive injury update released by the club on Twitter.

Chris Wilder has revealed that key players Enda Stevens and John Fleck are passed fit ahead of the Blades’ upcoming Premier League fixture against bottom club Norwich City. This means the Yorkshire side have no new fresh injury concerns as they will look to bag all three points to escalate themselves in the race for European football.

Sheffield United sit seventh in the table on 40 points, a total many regard as a ‘safety net’ to stay in the Premier League, but the northern club have probably exceeded even their own expectations by having this many points at this stage of the season in March with a few games still to play in the top flight.

With a refreshed squad to choose from, some Blades fans have suggested other players they would like to see break into the side for the weekend game, following the positive injury news which means more competitions for places. Amongst the names suggested below are Luke Freeman and John Lundstram, the latter has lost his starting line-up place to Sander Berge in midfield.

These Blades fans shared their reactions on Twitter, with one fan even claiming that Stevens and Fleck are ‘the best 2 players we have’:

Blades fans, are Stevens and Fleck your best players, or do you have other suggestions? Comment down below.
