Sheffield United: Fans can’t wait to see David McGoldrick score a goal

Chris Wilder was full of praise for his Sheffield United team after they managed to record a 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon (BBC), however he appeared to give David McGoldrick a special mention when talking to the club’s Twitter page.
“If you go missing at this football club and you don’t put a shift in and you don’t take responsibility, you’ll get found out…they won’t have you.
Everybody’s having David McGoldrick.”

The Blades continued their fine form in the Premier League with the win over their fellow Championship promotion colleagues and continue to raise a number of eyebrows with how they grind out the three points.
John Fleck was clearly instrumental for the Bramall Lane outfit as he bagged both goals after the restart, however McGoldrick’s performance certainly did not go unnoticed by his manager.
Wilder could not help but speak with a smile on his face when talking about what the Republic of Ireland international forward offers the team every time he plays and appeared to pay him some huge compliments.
The manager also mentioned that the 32-year-old was yet to score in the Premier League but was full of confidence that the time will come whereby he does find the back of the net.
Indeed, judging by the reactions left by fans, many of them would also love to see McGoldrick smash one past a top-flight goalkeeper sooner rather than later. One supporter stated that they reckon when he does, it will blow the roof of the stadium.
Here are just some of their reactions…
