Sheffield United: Fans praise ‘God’ Chris Wilder for MOTM nomination

Many Sheffield United fans have praised Chris Wilder for achieving a manager-of-the-month nomination for the month of February in the Premier League.
Wilder received the nomination after gaining seven points from nine in the league, with wins at home against Bournemouth (2-1) and away at Crystal Palace (1-0), as well as a home draw against Brighton and Hove Albion (1-1) in the first game of the month (via BBC). The points gained have helped the Sheffield United side cement their place in eighth ahead of their weekend clash at home against Norwich City, who are currently bottom of the league.
They have received what some believe is the ‘magical point-mark’ in 40 points which should keep the Blades safe for another season in the top flight. However, they will have higher ambitions to finish in a European spot which would be a great achievement for the side who got promoted from the Championship last season. Wilder has been in charge since 2016 and it is safe to say he has done a good job in getting the club to where they are.
The official Sheffield United Twitter account have hailed the manager as ‘One Of Our Own’ with a crown emoji next to the message. These Blades fans sent him positive messages, with one fan even branding him a ‘God’:

Wilder is God and we won’t ever see another Chris Wilder for as long as we live. He deserves manager of the season never mind manager of the month

Blades fans, does Wilder get your vote for MOTM? Would you have also voted any of your players for player-of-the-month, and if so, who and why? Should Wilder be manager of the season regardless of your final position? Let us know in the comments down below.
