Sheffield Wednesday fans are not going to be enjoying the next few years as Sheffield United reside in the Premier League. The last thing they needed to accompany their closest rival’s promotion is a congratulatory message from their owner Dejphon Chansiri towards the Blades on their achievements this season.

The Owls absolutely hate the fact that their own club has gone out of their way and issued a statement on the Sheffield Wednesday website wishing their closest rivals well. They’re already hoping that next season brings misery and relegation to their city rivals and will hope that they can win promotion themselves and either replace or join the Bramall Lane faithful in the top-flight.
It certainly will be tough for those at Hillsborough when Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool supporters are rocking up to Sheffield on their way to Bramall Lane, and it’s understandable. However, it won’t last forever as far as they’re concerned and if they do eventually make the jump up to the Premier League they won’t be expecting any sentiment from the Blades.

You are not representing our fan base with this tweet. I do not wish them any congratulations for anything I do not want them to have any luck whatsoever ever. They have been taking the piss and showing what little to no class they have since confirmed. Delete this tweet now!

The Owls do not want to have any connection to this club statement and do not have any intention of wishing their rivals well in the Premier League.
