‘Should be sacked’, ‘Please go’ – Man United fans on Twitter have no time for Mourinho’s plans

The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to comments from Jose Mourinho as he discussed the futures of both Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford. The comments, that can be found in full on the Manchester United website, have caused discussion among the United fans who want to see both of the youngsters at Old Trafford next season.

Rumours have surfaced recently that Rashford could be set to depart Manchester United on loan next season, although Mourinho was quick to debunk that rumour, claiming that he wants both Rashford and Pogba, who rumours suggest wants to leave Old Trafford, to stay and play under him next season as the club target another successful season. Mourinho is one win away from his third major honour at United as he takes on his former club, Chelsea in the FA Cup final.

Mourinho has come under criticism during his time in Manchester, the ex-Real Madrid and Inter Milan boss has been accused of failing to play football ‘The United way’ as the Portuguese manager’s reputation for playing for clean-sheets and ‘parking the bus’ has featured at Old Trafford. However, if the United boss can keep hold of Rashford, Pogba and other stars they have on their books then it could be a matter of time before the fans change their opinions of him.
