‘Shouldn’t be sold’ – Arsenal fans urge their side to turn down reported offer

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for a good season this year…

It has been a tough few years for the Gunners, with Arsene Wenger’s side struggling to impress. There are signs this year that that tide is going to change, but they’re going to need to keep their side together and, perhaps more importantly, sign a few players in the lead-up to the closure of the transfer window if they want to pose a real threat.

There is a sense of concern in the Transfer Tavern, then, with Arsenal fans worried by the prospect of Shkodran Mustafi leaving the club. According to the Mirror, Italian giants Inter Milan are said to be keen on a move, leaving his future looking uncertain.

Mustafi has, of course, struggled slightly since moving to the Premier League, with inconsistent performances causing problems at the back – but the Gunners are already short defensively, and they can’t afford to lose another player.

The Arsenal fans on Twitter, then, have voiced their opinion on the deal, and they appear to be firmly in the keep camp, with most fans recognising that whilst he isn’t perfect, it’s necessary to keep him.
