After capturing Alisson, Liverpool's squad is one defender away from being one of, if not the best teams in Europe.

With arguably the best front three in Europe, two of the best young fullbacks, a powerhouse defender, a superb midfield, and one of the best goalkeepers in the world, Klopp's side is parallel with Manchester City's in terms of quality.

What Klopp needs though is another defender to partner Virgil van Dijk at the back. Liverpool have been chasing Croatian international, Domagoj Vida and according to Turkish news outlet, Fotomac via Turkish-Football, Liverpool are ready to offer Simon Mignolet in any deal for the Besiktas defender.

Vida has also attracted interest from AS Monaco who according to Fanatik, had bid £26.7 million for the defender.

The Breakdown

Vida had a superb World Cup campaign with Croatia and was a big reason why they reached the final, albeit losing to France.

At 29-years-old, is well into his peak years and although he hasn't got long left in the prime of his career, he may just be the final ingredient which sees Liverpool win the league.

While Lovren seemed to pick up some form when paired with Virgil van Dijk during the second half of the season, he always seems like he will make a mistake.

Moreover, with Alisson now at the club, Simon Mignolet's future seems pretty much over in Merseyside. The Belgium international has fallen down the pecking order at the club and could finally seal the deal for Vida.
