Stoke fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern have seen their side make a quiet start to the transfer window this summer.
Their squad obviously possess a lot of talent, but the Potters activity in the transfer market has disappointed the Stoke section in the Transfer Tavern, who really expected more from their side in this respect.
Our landlord could not agree more and with the sides in the league that they believe they will be competing strengthening, our landlord believes that Mark Hughes needs to show his intent sooner rather than later.
Obviously this means that player recruitment will be the order of the day but our landlord has warned that recruitment may leave to talent leaving, and he has noted some quality players that Stoke have been too quick to sell in recent years which has really affected their progression.
This means that Mark Hughes really has to be careful when deciding which player he axes in order to sign a target.
Of course, this has started a debate in the Tavern and our resident Potters have been discussing the major decisions their club needs to make in signing and axing players this summer.
Let’s take a look at their findings here…
