The Tottenham fans in and around the Transfer Tavern are getting more and more anxious every day that goes by without substantial transfer activity going on around their club.
Considering how far Tottenham and the rest of the Premier League are away from table toppers Man City, it is surprising to see the lack of action from some of the league giants. The Spurs managed to secure Champions League qualification again last season and upon arrival to their new stadium this summer, they will greet it with Champions League football which in turn could interest better players to come and join the club.
Our punters believe that a better player could be in the form of French midfielder Tanguy NDombele, who is valued at £22.5 million on Transfer Markt.
The France u-21 central midfielder was on-loan with Lyon last season and impressed massively in his 35 Ligue 1 outings, where he didn’t score but made up by contributing 7 assists.
Tottenham are already blessed with quality midfielders but none have the ability of NDombele, nor the potential. The box-to-box midfielder is athletic and has bags of ability that suggest his future in football is extremely bright.
Tottenham are a young team and they’re hoping that next season could be the campaign where all their players blossom and turn into the stars they are thought to become. With the French midfielder included within a squad of talent with the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, NDombele can learn from these top internationals, allowing his Tottenham career to thrive.
