Liverpool will be hoping for some success in the January transfer window this time around, as the Reds look to add some more quality to a squad already brimming with attacking talent.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp will no doubt have a big idea who he wants to swoop for, and if he can target the right sort of player, then he will go a long way to making Liverpool a force to be reckoned with for the years to come under the German.
Our landlord here in the Tavern is a big fan of some of the young talent knocking about in the lower leagues at the moment, but one player who’s particularly caught his eye who he thinks Liverpool should move for, is Sheffield United starlet David Brooks.
The Welsh international has been a revelation this term, and has already notched two impressive league goals as he closes in on making a spot in the Sheffield United starting line up his own.
Brooks has bags of talent, and playing as a number 10, looks like becoming one of the top young players in world football should he continue his rapid ascent to the top and he keeps working hard at his game.
While the Blades will not want to sell, they will also know they cannot turn down big money offers for Brooks should they come in, and Liverpool are a club who have more than enough money to fund a move for the 20-year-old should they want him.
Liverpool fans, what do you think to Brooks? Would he fit in at Anfield? Let us know in the comments!
