The Spurs fans here in the Transfer Tavern were pretty pleased yesterday afternoon after they watched their charges close the gap on Chelsea at the summit of the Barclays Premier League to just four points.
The North London-based outfit have been a joy to watch for our neutral Tavern regulars this season and several fans of other clubs are hopeful that they can catch Chelsea in the race for the title.
Next season Spurs will look to go a little better in the Champions League having been knocked out in the group stages during the current campaign, despite a relatively kind group.
