Sign this £36m-rated goalkeeper and Liverpool can finally say goodbye to Karius

Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are excited to start next season. If Klopp can make one or two key signings this summer, Liverpool could well have their hands on the trophy next season.

Aside from another quality defender and goalkeeper, Liverpool could arguably have one of the best squads in Europe. The Merseyside club had been linked with a move for Roma shot-stopper Allisson but the move seems to have stalled. One alternative to Allison, is Italian goalkeeping sensation, Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Breakdown

Italian publication, Corriere Della Serra (h/t the Liverpool Echo) has reported that Donnarumma’s high profile agent, Mino Raiola is looking to move his client away from Milan this summer.

Last summer, Riola had tried to manufacture a move away from the club, only for Milan to offer the youngster a contract extension. However, due to Milan’s terrible financial situation, which has resulted in the club being excluded from the Europa League next year, Liverpool could well manufacture a cut-price deal for teenage sensation.

Last year, Milan quoted a price of £60 million but now the price has been slashed to £36 million. Having made 100 appearances for Milan already, a £36 million price tag would be an incredible price for a player who is Gianluigi Buffon’s heir in the Italian national side.

With Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet seemingly not favoured, Donnarumma would be an incredible signing.

If Liverpool can lure the ‘keeper to Merseyside, Klopp would finally have a top-class player whom he could finally rely upon in his search for the league title.

Liverpool fans, is this the goalkeeper that Klopp should sign?
