Silva is dominating Allardyce in these three departments

Everton have started the current campaign in a positive manner as they continue to push for a European spot.

The Toffees have certainly made a better start to the current campaign than they did in the last, with Marco Silva currently enjoying a lot of success at Goodison Park.

However, things weren’t all positive in the last campaign as former manager Sam Allardyce’s side flirted with the possibility of relegation and struggled to ensure consistency at times.

Therefore, here’s a look at THREE reasons as to why Silva is outshining Allardyce at Everton…

Style of play

The Portuguese boss wants to play attacking, attractive football and this is something that has certainly benefited them so far this season.

Sadly, Sam Allardyce forced his side to be defensive at times and didn’t always get the best out of the tactics that he was trying to deploy, but Silva certainly knows how to grind out results.

Indeed, the former Everton manager was never known for his positive tactics within the footballing world.

Record with youth

Everton have produced a number of promising youth products over the years and they continue to do so.

And, it’s safe to say that Marco Silva has already proven that he wants to work with young players, make them better and has performed very well with them since coming to Goodison Park.

Indeed, the likes of Ademola Lookman, Mason Holgate, Tom Davies and Fraser Hornby are the future of Everton Football Club, and Silva is the perfect man to bring them on leaps and bounds.

Adaptability

Sam Allardyce struggled to escape when things were tough and results weren’t going his way, but Marco Silva has already shown that he can adapt to the situation to turn things in his favour.

Indeed, the Toffees were reduced to 10 men against Wolves with a one goal lead under Silva’s belt at the time, but instead of taking up a negative approach and just defending like an Allardyce team would have done, Everton had a positive outlook and went on to cause problems for the opposition and found another goal.
