Silva must start Mina and Bernard today

Everton desperately need to improve if they are to secure a European spot in the current campaign, having struggled to ensure consistency in recent times.

The Toffees will be looking to bring in a couple of players to add strength in depth after witnessing their recent drop in form, as they run the risk of undoing all of their hard work.

Next up for Everton in the Premier League is a crucial clash against Bournemouth at Goodison Park. The Cherries are also in with a chance of securing a European spot as they continue to impress under Eddie Howe, so the Toffees will receive a big boost in their European qualification pursuit if they secure all three points today.

With that in mind, Everton can take big leap towards securing a European spot if Marco Silva deploys this PAIR today…

BERNARD

Bernard has proved to be a valuable signing for the Toffees having established himself as one of their key attackers so far this season, with four assists to his name in the Premier League.

Everton missed his presence last time out as they opted to deploy Theo Walcott on the right-hand side of the attack, which ended up backfiring as the Englishman was helpless.

Therefore, Marco Silva won’t have to worry about another below par from one of his attackers later on today, as Bernard has always been able to ensure consistency.

YERRY MINA

The central defender has been vital to Marco Silva’s European pursuit since joining back in the summer.

Indeed, the Colombian international has always managed to keep things tight and is starting to develop his game with the ball on the floor, which has definitely helped Everton’s flow.

So, after witnessing a rather average display from the likes of Michael Keane and Kurt Zouma against Leicester City, Silva simply has to gift Yerry Mina a place in the starting lineup today.
