17 year old hot prospect M’Baye Niang has attracted the attention of Europe’s top teams and looks set to leave his club, French side Caen.
The Mirror have reported that Niang has been invited to White Hart Lane, where he will meet with Tottenham officials who will offer him a better deal than their North London rivals Arsenal.
But could Tottenham actually persuade the prospect to snub the Champions League teams and join a club who are only in the UEFA cup?
This could easily work in Tottenham’s favour however. Even though they aren’t in the prestigious Champions League, Spurs could offer Niang a position in their UEFA Cup team and therefore could give him experience playing in a European tournament.
This is something which would not be as likely to happen at Arsenal, as the Gunners would be more reluctant to offer Niang a place in their Champions League team due to the higher prestige of that tournament.
The striker has impressed many with his form, which has resulted in him becoming a regular for the under-18 French team.
