Crystal Palace pulled off the impossible by securing all three points against Manchester City recently, which was a great achievement for Roy Hodgson and his men.
The Eagles will have their sights set on climbing up the table and into a promising position, with the January transfer window set to help out massively if they can invest in the right areas.
Interestingly, it looks as if Roy Hodgson is poised to secure a player on loan, as according to The Guardian, Dominic Solanke is set to opt for a move to Crystal Palace.
It’s thought that the England U-21 forward prefers a loan deal in south London
Roy Hodgson has acknowledged Solanke’s considerable potential, with Palace having prioritised his arrival ahead of Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi.
Brighton are also in the race for the promising attacker, but it looks as if a move to Palace would be better suited for him as he would slot right into the starting lineup, whereas Glenn Murray is always a guaranteed starter at Brighton.
Dominic Solanke has been on absolute fire on international duty in the current campaign, but he just hasn’t been able to work his way into Jurgen Klopp’s plans at all.
So, with the likes of Alexander Sorloth, Christian Benteke and Jordan Ayew failing to impress, bringing in Solanke would be sure to provide them with a consistent flow of goals.
