The Southampton fans in the Transfer Tavern want Claude Puel to raid his former club OGC Nice to land some of their talented star players.
Puel was manager of the French Ligue 1 outfit for four years before joining Southampton in the summer.
Nice are flying high in Ligue 1 this season: they are currently 3rd with an outside chance of clinching the title.
And recent rumours in the French media are suggesting that Puel might well be swooping for one of his former players.
According to French media outlet RMC Sport, OGC Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri is attracting attention from three Premier League clubs.
Southampton are one of the interested parties as they weigh up a move for the former Pacos de Ferreira man.
The quick, tidy and energetic central midfielder has been one of Nice’s top performers since joining in summer 2015 and he has played 34 games in all competitions this season.
The 25-year-old is also on the radar of Everton and Leicester City but Nice reportedly want to open contract negotiations to fend off this interest.
The Ivory Coast international’s release clause is believed to be in the region of 40 million euros as this trio of Premier League clubs ponder a summer move.
