Southampton fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have been sweating over the possible exit of the dynamic Sadio Mane.
And the Mirror reports that the Saints are willing to bid £11million for England u21 starlet, Nathan Redmond, as they also prepare for the likely exit of manager Ronald Koeman.
Director of football Les Reed has drawn up a short-list of possible successors for the Dutchman, with Manchester City title-winner Manuel Pellegrini and Fenerbahce boss Vitor Pereira among the contenders.
Redmond was a key figure in the Norwich squad that were relegated last season and Saints may be able to offer the youngster a route back into top flight football.
Redmond scored six goals last season and has bags of potential but is yet to take the eye of top clubs and reach the heights that he is capable.
Saints fans, do you think the Englishman could be a good addition to your squad? Let us know in the comments below!
