Southampton have managed to pull themselves out of the relegation zone in the last few weeks and one major factor in that has been attacking midfielder Stuart Armstrong, who has started five of their last seven Premier League games. The Saints won four of those five, drawing the other – and the fans have begun to notice the impact he’s having, too.
His goal against Leicester on Saturday during their 2-1 win has thrust him further into the spotlight, and rightly so. In the two games he didn’t start, his side dropped points in both of them, when they lost 1-0 to West Ham in mid-December and drew against Crystal Palace on December 28.
The club posted a Tweet on Thursday morning including a clip of his goal against the Foxes and a few match highlights. They asked who their fans would compare the 27-year-old to, and some obliged. Many fans replied with high-quality comparisons to show just how highly they rate him.

Maestro. Very underappreciated at the moment. Perhaps due to the incredible form of some of his teammates #SaintsFC
