Southampton: Fans plead for Che Adams to imitate training ground form against Leicester

Che Adams is yet to open his account for Southampton following his £15m move to St Mary’s from Birmingham City in the summer.
The 23-year-old came with a solid reputation having netted 22 goals for the Blues last term, though is experiencing a slow start to life in Hampshire having failed to score in each of his opening eight appearances for the club – assisting just once during the 3-1 defeat to Bournemouth last month (via Transfermarkt).
By contrast, his strike partner Danny Ings has found the back of the net six times so far this season, and while the 27-year-old is far more experienced in the top flight, it does highlight the current gulf in class between the pair.
Adams has been banging the goals in for fun during training, however, with Southampton’s official Twitter account sharing a clip of the ex-Sheffield United frontman excelling in a recent shooting drill.
Saints fans have responded to the post, and pleaded with Adams to replicate his training ground form on Friday night when Leicester City come to visit in the Premier League…
