Southampton were absolutely humiliated last week, thrashed by Leicester City 9-0 on home soil.
Is it time for Ralph Hasenhuttl to go?
One of the biggest defeats in top-flight history, Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side went 1-0 down inside 10 minutes through left-back Ben Chilwell, before Ryan Bertrand was dismissed for an incredibly stupid, reckless challenge just two minutes later.
Down to 10-men, the Saints then completely capitulated, with Youri Tielemans, Ayoze Perez (2) and Jamie Vardy all adding to the scoreline for the Foxes before the half-time whistle was blown.
5-0 down at the break, the damage was done for the Saints; or so they thought. What came after the interval was a shock – four more goals without response thanks to some laughable ‘defending’ from the hosts ensured the southerners suffered their heaviest ever defeat.
Hasenhuttl’s men now face Manchester City twice in the space of a week – once in the EFL Cup and then in the Premier League – far from ideal after Friday’s drubbing.
After the performance last week, first-team players and staff have donated their weekly salary to the club’s charity – SFC Foundation.
Here’s how fans reacted to that news on Twitter:
So they should’ve

Donating goals to opposition as well as money to charity, respectable

However actions must change on the pitch.

After two away games against Man City the players could end up skint. Nobody wants to see Vestergaard turn up at a soup kitchen expecting a meal.
