Southampton fans have responded to the delayed announcement that assistant manager Danny Rohl has left the club.
The club added: “Everyone at Southampton thanks Danny for his work with the club and we wish him well for the future.”

Lots of Southampton fans took to Twitter to poke fun at the club for releasing the news so long after it had become common knowledge. The Daily Echo had reported last week that the assistant had left his post at St. Mary’s.
Now, according to the report, Ralph Hasenhuttl will be the figurehead for the management team with a series of coaches who will perform under him. It suggests that he has been happy with the way the staff have settled into their new jobs and that he has no problems leading the team by himself.
Consequently, Craig Fleming, who has stepped up from an academy coach to a first-team coach temporarily since Hasenhuttl joined the club, has now landed that job permanently. There have been no other changes to the coaching staff.
