Southampton: Fans slate manager for taking off Sofiane Boufal in Manchester City defeat

It’s been a torrid couple of weeks for Southampton.
Should Ralph Hasenhuttl be under pressure at Southampton?
Yes

No

After falling victim to a 9-0 drubbing at the hands of Leicester City last weekend, they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup courtesy of Manchester City.
The Saints have now conceded 12 goals in their last two games, with a trip to the Etihad on the cards for their next game as they look to bounce back after a terrible few days.
Despite this, Southampton fans travelled in numbers to watch their side stumble out of the Carabao Cup last night after a 3-1 defeat to the English champions, with some fans launching particular criticism at manager Ralph Hasenhuttl following one decision.
20 minutes from the full-time whistle, and at 3-0 down, Hasenhuttl decided to take off Sofiane Boufal, with defender Jack Stephens grabbing a goal back moments later.
And it seems some fans were not too happy with Hasenhuttl’s decision to do so…
