Southampton have been struggling once again in the Premier League this season and things have not looked great on the pitch.
Saints have managed to pick up just one win in their first eight matches so far and the pressure will likely build on Mark Hughes to turn things around quickly.
He managed to bring in a couple of players in the summer to try and strengthen their team, but it appears that only Danny Ings has so far been able to make a real impact for them so far.
Should he be given enough time, Hughes will likely look to the transfer market in the winter to help improve his squad, although it appears that one man on their radar will likely be one for the future, rather than the present.
The 16-year-old has been impressing for Hradec Kralove in his home country of the Czech Republic and it is understood that the club have maintained an interest in him, despite him having a trial with the club when he was 15.
Although Firbacher would unlikely make an impression for the first-team for a number of years, he could be an excellent addition.
The striker has shone during his short career so far and has emerged as one of the Czech nation’s most exciting talents in recent years.
The Saints have looked to bring in a number of talented youngsters to the club in recent years from teams across the globe and Firbacher looks to be another that they want to bring through the St. Mary’s Stadium academy ranks.
