It would not be wrong to suggest that Southampton need to make additions to their squad in the winter transfer window.
And, although reports in Italy are suggesting that the Saints will be active, it appears that they are looking a lot further into the future with their latest target.
The attacking midfielder, who was born in 2004, is thought to have attracted interest from Bologna and Monaco as well as the Premier League outfit.
The Italian media outlet claim that the Slovenian has ‘top technical quality’ and ‘good vision’, but not much else is really known about him.
It is extremely difficult to make much sense of the news coming out from the Italian outlet.
Not much information is known about Puconja and it would be very hard to make a comment on how good of a signing the player could be for Southampton in the future.
However, what could be said is that the Saints are obviously looking a lot further ahead rather than looking at the immediate future, something that could potentially worry fans.
