Southampton are set to lose arguably their most influential attacker in Dusan Tadic, according to Sky Sports, and another one of the club's flair players could be set to join the Serbian.

Le10sport are reporting that Sofiane Boufal may follow Tadic out of the St. Mary's exit door this summer with Ligue 1 sides Bordeaux and Marseille said to be interested.

Quite frankly, Boufal's time at Southampton has been a stinker, so it's completely understandable if the club moves the 24-year-old on in the coming weeks. Big things were expected from Boufal after his £16m move from Lille; however, he just hasn't been able to deliver for whatever reason.

That being said, especially considering Tadic's increasingly likely departure, Saints boss Mark Hughes should persist with the £12m-rated (via Transfermarkt) Boufal at least up until the next transfer window.

The Morocco winger has indeed struggled during his time in England, but he's clearly a very talented individual that could still possibly thrive under the right circumstances.

Dubbed as the 'new Eden Hazard', Boufal is quick, direct and has tremendous dribbling ability; he just needs the freedom to express himself.

If Hughes can find a system to get the best out of Boufal and someone like Nathan Redmond, for example, then the Saints could once again have an attack that excites – something that has been missing since Mauricio Pellegrino's disastrous appointment last summer.
