Agent rules-out attacker’s Spurs move, Southampton hold interest

Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton fans in the Transfer Tavern have been given plenty to discuss today, following transfer news that concerns both Premier League sides.

The agent of Galatasaray winger Bruma has told ESPN that his client remains keen on a move to the Premier League but has ruled-out a possible move for his client to Tottenham Hotspur.

Bruma, who looks set to leave the Turkish outfit this summer, has attracted the attention of Southampton and Leicester City, agent Ibrahim Polat told ESPN:

“We are not in talks with Tottenham. Southampton and Leicester City have registered an interest and we have held talks,”

“Bruma is keen on the Premier League and we will be holding further talks next month. Everything will become clearer regarding his future in May.”

The Portuguese winger enjoyed a successful start to the season, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists before February, but has struggled to maintain those levels of performances during the second-half of the campaign.

Our landlord isn’t really sure how the chase for the 22-year-old will pan out, although he anticipates a move to the Premier League this summer.

Would Bruma be a good signing for Southampton? Let us know in the comments below!
