Saints fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are having a champagne breakfast today as some brilliant news has made it’s way to them here in the bar, another key deal has been finalised.
The club have confirmed that Serbian midfielder, Dusan Tadic, has signed a new four-year-deal to keep him at Southampton until 2020, the club have confirmed on Twitter.

The enigmatic midfielder arrived at St Mary’s from FC Twente in 2014 and has scored 14 goals and set up 23 in the two seasons since his move.
The 27-year-old had a hit and miss season last time out, having reportedly fallen out with former manager Ronald Koeman at times, however he maintained the ability to turn a game on it’s head.
The former Groningen man told the club’s media that; “There were also other options, but we recognised it was best that I stayed at Southampton.”
He added: “I want to mention that they [the club] put a lot off effort into that [new deal] and I appreciate that”
