The Foxes in the Transfer Tavern were pleased to see their side return to winning ways against Swansea last weekend.
Leicester City finally ended their barren run of form at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday where they recorded a 2-1 victory courtesy of a Federico Fernandez own goal and Shinji Okazaki’s effort either side of halftime. The result saw manager-less Leicester collect 3 Premier League points for the first time since the second game of the season after the departure of Craig Shakespeare earlier in the week.
Leicester caretaker manager Michael Appleton oversaw proceedings for the club on Saturday and will resume responsibility when they face Leeds United in the Caraboa cup this evening.
However, according to Bleacher Reports Dean Jones, Leicester will not be manager-less for much longer, with ex-Southampton manager Claude Puel set to take over at the King Power after completing a successful interview with the club.
With the likes of Manuel Pelligrini, Ryan Giggs, Roberto Mancini, and Chris Coleman all reportedly in contention for the job, it is hardly surprising that reports heavily linking Puel to the vacant manager’s role have done little to excite the Leicester supporters.
Here’s how fans of various clubs reacted to the Puel reports on Twitter…
Puel to Leicester is a proper headscratcher.

Puel suits Leicester's style of play imo all 11 men behind the ball and playing on the counter is what won them the league

Very boring and the football was very defensive.
