Southampton: Fans react to injury news as Will Smallbone, Stuart Armstrong and Nathan Redmond ruled out

Southampton fans have expressed their concerns after Ralph Hassenhuttl’s latest press conference has revealed that Will Smallbone, Nathan Redmond and Stuart Armstrong are all unavailable for Saturday’s Premier League fixture against Newcastle.
Armstrong suffered a concussion after last weekend’s fixture against West Ham and Smallbone has been ill all week, whilst Redmond is still injured, via the club’s official Twitter feed.
The injuries leave the Saints lacking firepower given both Redmond and Armstrong both average over a shot a game (via WhoScored) and largely depending on star striker Danny Ings, who has scored 15 goals this season. However, the striker is currently out of form, scoring only once in his last six fixtures, so the idea that the former Liverpool man can always save them is looking unrealistic.
After all, they currently sit in 13th, but if they lose to Newcastle and Norwich in their next two games, teams battling below them, like Bournemouth in 18th could be only one point behind them.
Here is what fans have had to say about the injuries:
#SaintsFC will be without Stuart Armstrong and @WSmallbone this weekend, but @MoussaDjenepo2 is likely to return, the manager has confirmed. pic.twitter.com/5W1MpAtHSn

Despite getting through the majority of the season without many injuries etc., it’s certainly started taking its toll on #SaintsFC the last few weeks (at arguably the most critical part of our season)!
🤒🤕
Good to see Moussa back! ❤️ https://t.co/PxMMrJXNOL

Why are we so unlucky with injuries man ?

Concerned about our creativity a little this weekend. We often miss Armstrong when he doesn’t play. At least Prowsey will be back in the middle (I hope) and glad Djenepo is back too. #SaintsFC https://t.co/5HEPFqDiCT
