Southampton: Fans react to Mohamed Elyounoussi rumours

Southampton have reportedly told Celtic they would take £10m for out-of-favour winger Mohamed Elyounoussi after the Scottish club contacted the Premier League outfit regarding a permanent move for the 25-year-old, via the Scotsman.
The Norway international joined Celtic on a season-long loan in the summer after falling out of favour at St Mary’s. He has taken to life north of the border fantastically, scoring seven goals while providing a further six assists (via Transfermarkt).
Can Moussa Djenepo rescue Southampton's season?
Yes

No

Elyounoussi’s form has seen the Hoops contact Southampton about signing him on a permanent deal at the end of the season to which the Hampshire outfit said they would accept around £10m for his signature.
Nathan Redmond, Sofiane Boufal and Moussa Djenepo are all ahead of Elyounoussi in the pecking order at Southampton, making his future on the south coast look bleak. At Celtic, though, he is a pivotal member of a team gunning for the league title and competing in Europe, making a permanent switch to Glasgow seem like an attractive proposition.
Saints fans have been discussing the topic on Twitter; here’s what some had to say:
Absolutely..let him go. Best for both parties

doubt we can afford his salary in the championship so probably good to take the £10m. That said owner will only take it as dividend so makes no odds to us supporters!

I’ll drive him there myself…oh wait, he’s already there! Personally I’d take £5-7M just to get him gone.
