Southampton: Fans unhappy with owners after dreadful start to the season

Southampton’s fans are unhappy with the club’s board after an abysmal start to the Premier League season, with Gao Jisheng supporters’ number one target.
A string of poor results has seen the Saints plummet to 19th in the table, with no other team in the league conceding more.
Can Moussa Djenepo rescue Southampton's season?
Yes

No

A 9-0 home defeat at the hands of Leicester was a chastening moment and, while performances have slightly improved, they haven’t won in the league since September 14’s 1-0 win over Sheffield United.
For years after their promotion back to the Premier League, the club prided itself upon developing their own talent while picking up bargains in the transfer market.
They brought in big transfer fees for the likes of Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana and Virgil van Dijk while picking out clever purchases like Sadio Mane and Dusan Tadic.
That model has been failing them for the last couple of years, as they progressively slumped closer to the relegation zone, only staying up by five points last season.
Fans are unhappy with the direction of the club, here’s what some of them had to say about the current ownership:
