Southampton: Fans want Danny Rohl back

Southampton are currently experiencing a season to forget in the Premier League.
Do Southampton need to go down to properly rebuild?
Yes

No

The Saints find themselves in the bottom three after 11 matches, without a win in their last six league games (via Soccerway).
Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl’s head was on the chopping block (per the Daily Mail) last week after his side were stuffed 9-0 by Leicester, though after two fairly promising performances against Manchester City last week – once in the Carabao Cup and once in the Premier League – it looks as though the Austrian’s job is safe once more.
A key factor to Southampton’s underperformance this season may have been down to Ralph Hasenhuttl’s assistant, Danny Rohl, departing the club in the summer to take up a position as first-team analyst at Bayern Munich.
Rohl was reportedly a big presence in the changing room at Saints and led many of the training sessions, with the players responding positively to his methods by avoiding relegation last term (via Daily Echo).
Since Rohl has left, though, things seem to have taken a nosedive at St Mary’s. After the sacking of Bayern boss Niko Kovac this weekend, many of the club’s supporters are discussing the possibility of Rohl returning to Hampshire; as shown by these Tweets below..

Danny rohl was clearly the only man responsible for our good form under Ralph. Anything positive came from him. God we miss him. What a man. Irreplaceable
