Southampton: Ings image excites many Saints fans

Many Southampton fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Saints news Twitter account @SouthamptonPage. The account shared an image of Southampton forward Danny Ings back in training for the Hampshire club ahead of their Premier League clash with West Ham United on Tuesday evening.
This image originally appeared in a pre-West Ham match training image gallery on the Saints’ official website (16/27).
It may be understandable why this image of last season’s joint-second-highest Premier League goalscorer has caught the attention of many Saints fans given that Ings was reportedly unable to train last week and as such, he sat out his side’s draw with Fulham at the weekend due to his hamstring injury.
So, how have these Southampton fans reacted to this training image?
A lot of Saints supporters shared some excitement over the sight of Ings in training, though some fans of the Hampshire club did stress that they don’t want to see the 28-year-old rushed back into first-team action and that they would rather see the club wait until he’s 100% fit to get him back in the squad.
“Good but he must not be rushed back – he will be key to turning things round in January (WHU may be this seasons Leicester moment – just try and keep the score down).”
“Good to see Danny back training but don’t want him to start or even be on the bench until he is fully fit”
“get in#”
“YESSS”
