Manolo Gabbiadini’s future at Southampton has been a topic of discussion for a number of months and with the transfer window now open, it appears there is finally some clarity regarding the Italian.
The Italy international has found it difficult to get regular game time at the St. Mary’s Stadium in recent months and it appears he will not be given the opportunity under the new boss.
It is claimed that Gabbiadini has a number of possible options in his homeland, with the likes of AC Milan, Fiorentina and Bologna having all been linked with a move for the forward.
Gabbaidini’s future at Southampton has continually come into the spotlight and it appears his days on the south coast are numbered.
Having arrived in January 2017 for a fee of £15.3million (per Transfermarkt) by Claude Puel, the 27-year-old appeared to start life with the Saints in fine form.
However, it would seem that Hasenhuttl has different ideas for the St. Mary’s Stadium outfit and it would appear the Italian forward does not feature in his plans.
