Southampton will head to the capital on Saturday as they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
It is understood that Danny Ings could have to face a late fitness test ahead of the clash as he looks to be ready from a foot problem.
The striker, who joined from Liverpool this summer, had to miss their 1-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion in the League Cup during midweek but will be hoping to be fit for the game against Palace.
Charlie Austin scored the only goal of the game against the Seagulls and will be looking to start the match and get his Premier League tally underway as well.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will be able to return to the first-team after he served the suspension handed to him. The midfielder was sent off in their 2-1 defeat and subsequently missed the win in midweek.
Southampton will be looking to bounce back from their late defeat to Leicester City last weekend, although a test against Crystal Palace could prove to be too difficult to overcome.
Roy Hodgson’s side have been playing well recently and have looked sharp at times when going forward, which could cause the Saint’s defence some problems.
Ings being a doubt for the game will not be welcomed by Hughes, as he will be keen for the former Liverpool striker to lead the line and get the club’s first three points of the Premier League season.
