It’s been a difficult couple of weeks for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. Today he was sensationally branded a ‘specialist in failure’ by Chelsea boss and old foe Jose Mourinho.
But before all of this, he only managed to sign a crocked 31-year-old Swede on loan for the remainder of the season, instead of Julian Draxler.
Then came a humiliating 5-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield, which saw his side knocked off the top of the table by Chelsea, and their title credentials questioned by everyone.
Then, Wednesday night saw another must win game for Wenger, as David Moyes’ struggling Manchester United side turned up at the Emirates Stadium.
Moyes has been handing three points out to just about everyone since the turn of the year, but Arsenal could only struggle to a dull 0-0 draw.
And it’s not just the football that Wenger has been having a hard time with lately.
Check out this snap of the Gunners boss competing at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Looks like it’s going to be nine years without any sort of medal!
