It’s only gone and happened again.
Another pointless friendly has led to another big injury.
And no surprise, it’s Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere in the treatment room once again.
The Gunners midfielder had only returned from a lay-off three weeks ago, but is set for another six weeks on the sidelines after a clash with Liverpool defender Daniel Agger (oh the irony) during England’s boring 1-0 win over Denmark in midweek.
It’s hardly the first time Wilshere has been ruled out with an injury.
He is fast becoming the most likely to nick Michael Owen’s coveted ‘most injury prone English player in the Premier League of all-time’ award.
In fact, Wilshere is injured so much, that one kind fan has gone to the trouble of making him his own personalised wheelchair. Tottenham punters in the tavern are actually already referring to Jack as ‘Jack Wheelchair’.
Dont even think Jamie Redknapp had one of those!
