Arsenal fans have been busy drowning their sorrows in the Football Transfer Tavern after their Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
Robert Lewandowski’s late winner at the Emirates Stadium ensured the Gunners failed their first major test of the season, and has been a tough one to take in the days since.
That’s in no small part to this picture that has emerged since Tuesday, of Arsenal’s seats at the Emirates smashed to pieces by Dortmund’s Yellow Wall.
Talk about rubbing salt into the wounds.
No doubt Arsenal will be looking to seek revenge in the reverse fixture next month, but in the meantime let’s try and draw a positive from the situation..
Does the vandalism mean that those ridiculously expensive ticket prices at the Emirates may drop until it gets fixed? Probably not actually…
